Ground Zero, New York City 2008. I was there by chance, as I had been relaxing in battery park photographing some street performers shortly before. When I got there I felt that there was not mush to see. I felt you had to have been there to really see it when it happened. I was thankful I was not there.
Still, not seeing anything through the fence which interested me, I looked around and was fascinated by the gawking spectators, flock of photographers, and solom mourners.
